I just can’t express adequately how thrilled and lucky I am to have found and joined this unique family. Each and every puppy is truly special indeed. Little “Bella” recently joined my family after a painful loss. Bella truly brings a very special light and joy to us every single day! I am forever grateful to NFST for pairing me with my beautiful angel.

My wonderful experience with Nutmeg Farms Shih Tzu all started simply because of my love for the breed. During my search, I came upon this website. I filled out the inquiry form and received a prompt response. I found myself constantly on the website looking at the litters, one litter more beautiful than the next, the videos of the puppies playing was an indication of what good care they were in.
NFST are extremely careful who their precious babies go to. Once you go onto the website you can’t stop, you're hooked. You are now in a beautiful land of the most beautiful Shih Tzu puppies ever.
I now went from a browsing person to a “l have to have a puppy!“ Months went by and I messaged the most delightful owner, forming a wonderful trusting bond. Finally, one day, I fell in love with my Frankie. We had to wait until he was 12 weeks, but during the 12 weeks, they called us, sent videos, and we Facetimed . Their wonderful children interact with the puppies all the time. Your puppy comes to you so loved and you have such a wonderful connection with the owners. I would not buy my puppy from anywhere else, I’m so in love with my Frankie and so happy we drove all that way to get him. He was worth it all. Thank you for the best experience ever.

How can I begin to thank you for for bringing such joy into our lives? It took us a very long time to commit to a puppy and an even longer time to find a wonderful, trustworthy breeder…until I spoke to NFST. We FaceTimed for quite awhile and I knew instantly that NFST were not “breeders,” but loving empathic people, who cared deeply about who they let adopt their puppies. After an hour conversation, I just prayed we would pass the test, as they certainly had passed mine!
Upon meeting the NFST, we felt part of the family. We were warmly greeted and “interviewed” to make sure they could entrust us with one of their puppies. We laughed, asked questions and enjoyed meeting this special family.
Then the moment came, we met Remy. We were in love. He chose us and now the long wait started as NFST will not release any puppy until they are 12 weeks old, 100 percent healthy, socialized and paper trained.
The wait was torture, but NFSt made it easier with many FaceTimes, pictures and phone calls. Their wonderful children treated my baby as their own giving him lots of love and kisses.
We picked up Remy three days ago. In addition to being gorgeous, he is sweet, gentle, calm and happy around people. All he wants is to give love. He sleeps through the nights, uses the pads and gives tons of kisses and tail wags! He even recognizes NFST's voice on my videos and kisses the phone!
Today was our first vet visit. The vet told me that Remy was not only one of the most beautiful pups she’s seen, but healthy, socialized and obviously well cared for. Upon reading his records and examining him, she looked at me and said, “I’m so impressed with your breeder, they went above and beyond and I rarely say that about any breeders.” I was not surprised.
NFST has called to follow up many times…checking on us and more importantly, her baby. I’m so proud Remy graduated from NFST…the Harvard of breeders. I look forward to a lifelong relationship.

As first-time puppy parents, we came to realize, not surprisingly, that puppies raised in a loving environment are themselves, loving, sweet puppies. To say we hit the jackpot when we happened upon the Nutmeg Farms Shi Tzu website is a huge understatement. Our first impression of their site was that it was very well-designed and professional, giving us a glimpse into the wonderful family behind NFST! One phone call with NFST and we knew it was the perfect match for us, and as luck would have it our puppy was born just days before that call -- the whole experience was surely meant to be! Now a bit over two weeks into puppy parenthood, we are pinching ourselves. Etta is THE best puppy ever! Totally comfortable with our young grandkids and everyone who comes to meet her ~ proof that her early socialization did wonders! When Charlie, our 16 year old shih tzu, died our hearts were broken in a million pieces and our 15 1/2 year old shih tzu Maisy was instantly lost without her best friend. Quite frankly, it’s an honor and a privilege to have taken home not one, but three dogs, from NFST. About a year and a half ago, we were looking for a fur baby to add our family and were so happy to have
found Nutmeg Farms Shit Tzus. We feel very fortunate to have been able to adopt our beautiful little
girl from NFST. Riley will be two years old this June. She is very sweet, loyal and intelligent and we love
her more than anything!! The NFST family had taken such great care of our little princess and loved her
from the minute when she was first born. While our little girl was in their care, we received daily
updates with pictures and video calls to let us know how she’s doing. They even captured special

I absolutely adore B. and her family! We got our puppy, Harley, from Nutmeg Farms Shih Tzus in August, 2020. We adopted our Sadie from Nutmeg Farms about a year ago. She is so amazing and our whole family is absolutely in love with her!
